Gravity die casting method
Gravity die casting uses a permanent custom-made metal mould consisting of two halves. Once cooled, the mould is opened and the casting removed, after which the mould is immediately resealed and refilled. It creates a continuous casting process that takes about 2 to 6 minutes. This makes gravity die casting to produce a large number of castings cheaper than sand casting.
