Sustainable choices
As a foundry, we deliberately opt for aluminium and copper. Both have a long lifespan and are 100% recyclable. In addition, at RG Castings Group, we only work with primary and secondary quality aluminium and copper alloys sourced from Europe. This means we can always guarantee the quality of our castings.
Green energy
Besides opting for aluminium, our aim is to also reduce our own CO2 emissions. For instance, we are gradually switching from gas to electricity and are investing in some 8,000 m² of solar panels to ensure the electricity is as green as possible. From 2024, we intend to progressively shift exclusively to green energy with our wind turbine project at the Fonderie Fallais site. For this purpose, we can rely on the expertise of Luminus, who supports us from A to Z: pre-project to impact studies and permit applications, and construction, connection and operation.
